Our Water Treatment Professions program will provide the skills and knowledge you’ll need to apply for an entry-level position in the public water and wastewater industries.

Grant funding allows our program to offer comprehensive training, mentorship and assistance with the exam, all at no cost to you.

Where our Graduates Work

Class I wastewater and drinking water operators perform a wide range of tasks under general supervision that vary based on facility size and type.

Our graduates can find work in city and county water treatment and reclamation facilities.

The average pay is $23/hr with competitive benefits.

Program Details

In just 16 weeks, you will receive the skills and practical knowledge needed for the water workforce.

When you enroll in this program, you will attend class exclusively with a group of students in the program, and be assigned a mentor who is currently employed in the water treatment industry.

Once you complete the program, you will earn a Water Treatment Professions Certificate. This opens the door to job placement or further study toward an associate or bachelor’s degree.
