Culinary Arts Certificate (Owens Code: ZCAB)


This certificate is designed to develop food preparation skills that provide a solid foundation for chefs, line cooks, catering, baking positions and potential restaurateurs.

Students in this certificate are trained for entry-level positions in food preparation and service in hotels, restaurants, commercial and private caterers, institutions and resorts.

Students are eligible to receive the Certified Culinarian (CC) credential from the American Culinary Federation, www.acfchefs.org, upon certificate completion and completion of one year industry experience.

Credits earned in this certificate may be applied toward the Culinary Arts Program, AAS (Owens Code: CAPP) .
